Talk:Basic (strategy guide)
From HexWiki

Is it possible to modify this article (I mean is it OK with Glenn C. Rhoads ?) to match with the development of the wiki : there are a lot of things that are redundant with the other written articles. *The topic on the board size looks to me irrelevant here.
- In the intermediate guide, 6templates are shown and 3 other templates are extensively developped in the advanced guide.
- 4 examples of the minimax principle may be a bit too much regards to the size of the minimax article.
- the fourth example is a full game in which "The rest of the game does not illustrate minimaxing but it is instructive nevertheless". It could be transfered into the commented games section. And we could keep only the illustration of the minimax principle here or in the minimax article.
Please tell me what you think about this.

It doesn't matter if it's ok or not. The article is in this wiki, so you can assume that Glenn gave his permission that these articles be part of the wiki. This, of course, includes changing them. Be bold and change everything that needs changes, as long as the strategy guide stays readable and useful. --Roland Illig 01:13, 4 December 2007 (CET)
